#CONSTRUCT 3 DESKTOP ZIP FILE#
Using this option provides you with a zip file with the exported project and necessary configuration files included to use on other services, ready to be uploaded and built. For example users accustomed to using PhoneGap Build can continue to use the Cordova export option, just as it works with Construct 2. Access to the build service will come with the Construct 3 subscription at no further cost.

However this will all be done from within the Construct 3 editor, and using a service that Scirra hosts.

The Scirra build service will work much like other existing services: you'll export your project, upload it to the build service, wait a moment for it to run the build, and then download the built files. Our aim is to get as close as possible to a "one click build" - a smooth and worry-free experience for getting your mobile apps built and published.
#CONSTRUCT 3 DESKTOP ANDROID#
We're pleased to announce that Construct 3 will include a Scirra-hosted service to build apps for iOS and Android directly from the editor.

Where it makes sense, we'll also add Live Previews to any new behaviors we add in future. Finally for completeness we added it to the Rotate behavior too, so you can preview the rotate speed and acceleration of an object. We also added a Live Preview for the Fade behavior, so you can preview the fade timings and opacity changes in the editor. Particles and animations are a good start, but we wondered: what else would it be useful to see in real-time in the editor? The Sine behavior is handy for simple cyclic effects, so we added a preview mode for it as well. This runs through the initial animation like you'd see previewing it in the Animation Editor, but animating the object in the Layout View instead. You can use the same feature to preview Sprite animations. Using Live Preview, you can preview a particle effect and edit it in real-time and immediately see the effect of changing the settings!
